On April 11, 2011 Premier received a new Fanuc Robodrill CNC Vertical Machine Center for machining die castings.
The Machine Center is part of an upgrade program at Premier and it replaces a smaller size CNC Machine Center. This new machine also adds capacity with an integrated shuttle system that increases production rates by keeping the spindle working longer than a conventional CNC machine.
The machine was ready to go into production within 24 hours after it arrived on site.
It joins a machining department of 12 other CNC machine centers at Premier and is integral to the plant operations where Premier can offer aluminum die casting, in house secondary operations such as CNC machining, shot blasting, vibratory deburring, and assembly.
Premier has been in business 65 years and has a very diverse customer base. Premier serves many industries and markets such as the gas meter industry, the telecommunication industry, industrial equipment, outdoor lighting, LED lighting, and the office furniture industry just to name a few. Today Premier is growing to meet the demands of both our customers and the expanding US economy.
Premier utilizes state of the art equipment in manufacturing high pressure aluminum die castings such as Kawasaki Robots, VisiTrak monitoring systems, die temperature control systems, vacuum die casting, and central lubrication system for the casting dies. Premier’s secondary department consists of newer CNC Machine Centers to produce very precise machined castings.
With late model CNC machine centers, Premier is in a position to offer high quality and cost effective machined die cast parts to the marketplace.
If you have any parts as a potential die casting you would like Premier to review, please send your drawings or files email@example.com.
