2011 has certainly gotten off to a quick and active start for the die casting industry.
Although Premier Die Casting Company is not a magnesium die caster, there was a very important development in Washington DC earlier this week that will affect the competitiveness of the magnesium die casting industry in the United States. The development was the result of the work of the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) and a few magnesium die casters in various areas of the country.
It is February 2nd, 2011 and Premier has just received a new Kia 6” CNC Lathe with all the bells and whistles to machine high precision die castings on a steady basis.
While most plastics are capable of being recycled, the infrastructure for such recycling is far from being in place. While many early recycling efforts among consumers have met with cooperation, end results to date have not been promising.
