NADCA 2011 Gala Awards Dinner Event, Part 5

Here is the final clip from the North American Die Casting Association’s Gala Awards Dinner Event, as promised.

If you remember, the Gala was held in conjunction with the Die Casting Congress and Tabletop exhibit.  For the first time in six years this event was held as a die casting only event and serves as a solid platform for the community to come together with industry colleagues.

In addition to the Awards ceremony, there was surprise entertainment before the dinner for the first time in NADCA history.  The “NADCA Quartet” performed five jazz standards that included “Freddy the Freeloader”, “Take the A Train”, “Blue Monk”, “Misty”, and “Don’t Get around Much Anymore”.

The NADCA Quartet consisted of me (NADCA Chairman, Leonard Cordaro), NADCA Engineer, Alex Monroe, NADCA Technical Director, Steve Uvardy, and Piano Man, Robert Monroe.

Please enjoy this short video clip of Thelonious Monk’s “Blue Monk.”  Thanks for watching the clips!
