NADCA Offers On Line Classes in Die Casting Education

Recently, the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) started to offer its corporate members a number of online courses in various areas of die casting such as operator classes to management courses.

Online education and training offers students the convenience of taking courses anywhere and the ability to complete courses at their own pace. In addition, companies and individuals can save money on travel expenses and reduce time away from the office.

NADCA’s new Online Education System integrates NADCA webinars as well as previously offered online courses.

Each course contains a video presentation, PDF of the slides shown, additional resources and when applicable, the option to test your knowledge on the course viewed. Courses are available in blocks to Corporate Members but are also available individually. Individually the courses are very reasonably priced at $49 each.

The courses are grouped into three basic categories:  Engineering, Operator Training, and Management. NADCA has also granted free access to a few courses to better acquaint potential students with the new system – theIntroduction Course, the Safety Course, and the Operator Training Course. NADCA will be updating the recorded and the presentation materials on a quarterly bases to make sure you are getting the most current information on the industry.

NADCA represents the voice of the die casting industry and is committed to promoting industry awareness, domestic growth in the global marketplace and member exposure. Headquartered in Arlington Heights, IL, the association is comprised of both individual members and corporate members located throughout United States, Canada and Mexico.

Internal Die Casting Education

Premier Engineered Products is a long time corporate member of the North American Association and has actively participated in events that affect the die casting industry.  Premier is a supporter of industry education for its employees and has received the NADCA Education Award in 2013 for the amount of courses Premier has offered to its employees.

Leonard Cordaro has held the position of Chairman of NADCA from 2010 to 2012 and is a strong supporter of NADCA’s education efforts throughout the past years.
